One of the largest CNC machine tool distributors in North America seeks experienced Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machine tools and controls.

*** Familiarity with opposed gang tools, B-Axis live tools, Independent Gang Slides, CNC Lathes with Y-Axis, and similar equipment a must.

*** Shall be well versed in Swiss Machining and operation of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

*** Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics and ladder diagrams is required.

*** Familiar with regional travel requirements - up to 80%

*** Experience with Fanuc controls highly preferred, similar systems acceptable.

*** Experience working with Japanese machine tools and ability to read, write or speak Japanese a plus.
